If I had an outhouse instead of an indoor toilet water rates would not bather me. The whole administration this running our country into the ground is stupid  to the core.

If you take a look at an average family and their electric usage (which by the way is fueled by coal, water some sort of energy that Biden would probably do away with that before coming up with work around.

in my house; electric stove and oven, small oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, electric coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator, frypan, crockpot, sausage cooker, blender, mixer, 5 TV sets, stereo, 4 computers chargers for batteries, air pump, electric drills, lift for the motorcycle, garage doors, house lights, furnace electric with natural gas, central air, sewing machines, radio,, 2 eclectic fireplaces, telephone chargers ice maker, vacuum, washer, dryer, pencil sharpener, lamps, electric razors, electric water heater, sewing machines, hairdryers, curling irons and all the little things like constant power for instant-on,   We have a whole house generator in case of a power outage that runs on natural gas.

Now add an electric car or two and there is no way you can put enough solar panels, wind generators, batteries at each house to carry the electric loads. You can not even do that with the whole neighborhood having electric cars, the power grid in America is not ready for it and I sure do not see any work or money going into improving the electric grid.

you have to add up all the wattage you use in a day, figure out how many and what size solar panel you need, how much sun your average year would supply that solar panel, wind generator etc. then you have to figure out how many batteries it will take to supply the power you need to run all of it, where you would put those batteries, can't have them in the house because of the toxic gas they emit.

You would have to have a unit to keep track of your solar and wind-producing power coming to your batteries throughout the day and how much usage you are taking from the energy bank. the adults and the kids will all have to learn to care for this change over and come to understand it.

Green is a dream, it may be able to exist to some degree but we can not rely on it totally. subzero weather  lowers batteries to hold up to large, frequent loads, and this is just one two person household we are thinking about! Imangine every house and store having to do this by 2035. Those dreamer are just that. I do not see solar panels and wind generators on their mansions, why aren't they using?????
